What we believe

The technology was never the hard part.

MIT found about 5% of enterprise AI pilots produce real P&L impact. The other 95% stall. It fails on adoption, not capability.

So we built the firm around the part that actually moves: people. Experts who did the job for a career and then got AI-fluent, embedded where your team already works, plus an engineering bench that ships the systems too big to build in a session. The field sends engineers who have never done your job, or consultants who advise and leave. We send the person who has done the work and can now build it with you.

And we work where the big firms don't want to and the boutiques can't: construction, insurance, energy, healthcare, manufacturing. The companies that run the real economy, from regional operators to multi-billion-dollar groups, where the gap between AI talk and AI work is widest and closing it pays off fastest.

The story

It started with a contract manager in construction.

The engineering came first. Asad Malik and Awais Tariq started a software development firm in 2018, building custom tools for companies. When OpenAI opened its first API, their clients started asking for internal AI tools, so they built them. By the time the world was debating what AI might do someday, their team had been shipping it inside real businesses for years.

The spark came later, from Wyatt's mom. She manages contracts for a construction company, and one day she was told she couldn't use AI. No training, no guidance, no legal help with the contracts crossing her desk every day. Just a ban.

Wyatt had been building custom tools with Asad and Awais, and the contrast was hard to ignore. Inside the dev shop's world, AI was already doing real work. Outside it, the people who needed it most were being locked out, because nobody would teach them what it could do, what it couldn't, and how to use it safely. The problem was never the tool. It was that nobody was educating the people.

So they bet the company on it. A hard pivot into AI: the 2018 engineering bench, plus consultants who teach in plain language, aimed at the companies everyone else ignores. That partnership became Northwest AI. The rest is history, and we've been building together ever since.

How we work

Three rules we don't break.

01

We build, not advise

200+ shipped projects. Strategy exists to point the building in the right direction, never to replace it. You own every line we write.

02

We say no

Under $25M in revenue, we'll tell you the math doesn't work yet and point you to our free content. Turning away bad fits is how the guarantee stays easy to offer.

03

We stay accountable

Every engagement is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee, and our flagship clients have grown with us year over year.
