Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Northwest AI Consulting LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on nwai.co and our landing pages. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information generally, and our Do Not Track page, which collects every opt-out route in one place.

What these technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. A first-party cookie is set by us, a third-party cookie is set by another company whose code runs on our page. A session cookie disappears when you close the browser, a persistent cookie stays until it expires or you delete it. We also use pixels and tags, which are tiny bits of code that report that a page loaded or an action happened, and local storage, which holds small amounts of data in the browser itself.

The categories we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work: routing, security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices, and running the booking widget. These cannot be switched off from our side, and blocking them in your browser will break parts of the site.

Analytics and performance. Tell us which pages get read, where people stop reading, how far into a video they watch, and which paths lead to a booked call. We use this to fix what is not working.

Advertising and targeting. Set by advertising platforms so we can measure which ads produce real conversations and show ads to people who have visited us. This is the category that counts as “sharing” personal information under several state privacy laws, and it is the one that stops when you send a Global Privacy Control signal.

Functional. Remember preferences and make embedded content, such as video, behave properly across visits.

What actually runs on this site

The current set. Tags are managed through a tag manager, so this list changes when our marketing does, and we update this page when it does.

• Google Tag Manager. The container that loads the tags below. Functional.
• Google Analytics. Traffic and behavior measurement. Analytics. Typically expires up to 2 years.
• Google Ads. Conversion tracking and remarketing. Advertising. Typically expires up to 13 months.
• Meta pixel. Conversion tracking and audience building for Facebook and Instagram advertising. Advertising. Typically expires up to 90 days.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag. Conversion tracking and audience building for LinkedIn advertising. Advertising. Typically expires up to 180 days.
• Microsoft Clarity. Session recording and heatmaps. It records how you move through a page, including mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling, so we can see where the site confuses people. Analytics. Typically expires up to 1 year. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into a form is not captured in the recording, and Microsoft may use the data it collects under its own privacy statement. • iClosed. The booking widget that runs our scheduling popup. Strictly necessary for booking a call.
• Vidalytics. Video hosting and playback analytics, including how far into a video you watched. Functional and analytics.
• HubSpot. Our CRM, which associates a form submission or a booked call with a contact record. Functional and analytics.
• Identity resolution. A partner that may match a visit to contact information already held about you, as described in our Privacy Policy and opt-out-able at app.retention.com/optout. Advertising.

These vendors set their cookies under their own privacy policies, and the durations above are their defaults rather than promises we control.

How to control them

Your browser settings are the master switch: block third-party cookies, block all cookies, delete existing ones, or browse privately. Blocking everything will break the booking widget and embedded video. Beyond the browser, the platform-level and industry opt-out tools are listed on our Do Not Track page, and a Global Privacy Control signal will switch off the advertising category for that browser.

Consent

Where the law requires consent before non-essential cookies are set, we ask for it before setting them, and you can change your answer at any time using the controls described above. Where the law does not require prior consent, non-essential cookies are set when you use the site, subject to the opt-outs on this page.

Changes and contact

We update this policy when the technology on the site changes, and we change the “Last updated” date when we do. Questions go to consulting@nwai.co.
