What we do with tracking signals, and every way to turn our tracking off.
Last updated: August 16, 2026
The short version. Most browsers send a “Do Not Track” header that no industry standard ever agreed on how to interpret, so like nearly every site on the internet, we do not respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control, which is the signal that actually carries legal weight, and every other way to switch our tracking off is listed below. California law requires us to say all of this plainly, so this page exists to say it.
We run analytics and advertising technology on this site so we know which pages work, which ads bring in the companies we can help, and whether someone who booked a call came from a search, an ad, or a referral. That involves cookies, pixels, tags, and identifiers, and it means third-party platforms can see that you visited us. Our Cookie Policy lists the specific technologies and vendors.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting that adds a header to requests you make. No legal or technical standard ever settled what a site is supposed to do with that header, and there is no enforcement behind it. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track headers, and third parties operating on our site may not either. If that changes we will update this page.
Global Privacy Control is different. It is a browser or extension signal that communicates a legally recognized opt-out under California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state privacy laws. We honor it. When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt that browser out of the sale and sharing of personal information and out of targeted advertising, and we stop the advertising tags for that browser.
GPC is browser-specific and device-specific. It does not carry across your phone, your laptop, and a second browser, and clearing cookies can reset it. To submit an opt-out that applies to you rather than to one browser, email us as described in section 8.
These tools set opt-out cookies, so clearing your cookies undoes them and you will need to run them again.
Our online data partners may match your visit to information they already hold about you, including your email or home address, so that we can follow up by email or mail. Opt out of that at https://app.retention.com/optout.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies, and browse privately. Blocking all cookies will break parts of this site, including the booking widget. On mobile, iOS offers App Tracking Transparency and a “Limit Ad Tracking” setting, and Android offers a setting to delete or reset your advertising ID. Privacy-focused browsers and extensions can block trackers before they load, which is the most reliable method available to you.
Marketing email: click unsubscribe in any message, or email us. Text messages: reply STOP. Phone calls: tell us to stop calling and we will. None of these affect messages we have to send about an active engagement, such as invoices and service notices.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information across every browser and device we can identify you on, email consulting@nwai.co with the subject line “Do not sell or share my personal information.” An authorized agent may submit that request for you with your written permission. We do not charge you, deny you service, or give you a worse experience for opting out.
This page is our disclosure under California Business and Professions Code § 22575 (CalOPPA) about how we respond to Do Not Track signals and about third parties that may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit our site. Our Privacy Policy contains the notices required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the categories of information we collect and the right to opt out of sale and sharing.
